IVR routing problem with 100 concurrent calls

Postby rodrigo » Thu Apr 30, 2015 9:44 am

Hi,
in our call centre we handle more then 100 concurrent calls.
All the calls should be routed into the ivr but we have noticed that some of the incoming calls are not routed properly.

The Asterisk CLI reports this error:
FastAGI connection to 'agi://127.0.0.1/square' timed out after MAX_AGI_CONNECT (2000) milliseconds.

How can we solve this?

The problem is caused by the mysql max connections limit.

To increase this limit:
- edit the file /etc/my.cnf
- set max_connections = xxx, where xxx must be greater than your expected value of concurrent calls.
- restart mysql service to apply the change (service mysqld restart)
