Web Services

Web Services

Postby greatwa » Mon Jul 21, 2014 5:03 pm

I am new for Cally Square and try to test this product if we can integrate web services to initiate/intercept some IVR functions during conversation (call has been set up in our Asterisk server between PSTN->SIP & SIP->PSTN).

Unfortunately, I did not find much info regarding this aspect. Can any expertise/grul help? We hope to use Cally Square for quick deployment/implementation for DTMF collection during conversation so that colleagues can make use the drag and drop to design simple DTMF collection application when they needed.

Cheers,

Hello,

we plan to have a dedicated box to invoke web services in future (REST or SOAP).
Right now, if you want to call for external web services during a live call, you can write your scripts and call them using either the AGI box or the Script box available on Cally Square:
http://www.callysquare.com/documentation/#!/call_flow

AGI is useful if you can write your own script in php, perl or the language you prefer interacting with Asterisk
Script can call a Linux script
